For over 25 years Moon Valley Pony Club has been helping children that love horses learn about all aspects of English riding. As part of our program, the children have the opportunity to participate in two mounted and two dismounted lessons each month.
Pony Club teaches about riding, equestrian sports, & caring for horses. Through the rating system, pony clubbers develop confidence, responsibility, discipline, and leadership. These skills that Pony Club develops has produced riders that have a lifelong love or horses as well as Olympic champions.
Moon Valley Pony Club instructors are experienced in a variety of disciplines. More experienced members learn how to teach through the program, allowing them to "give back" to the club by teaching newer members. Additionally, Moon Valley Pony Club offers its members opportunities to participate in clinics taught by world-class equestrians; many whom are Pony Club graduates themselves.
While improving your riding and learning good horse management skills, being a member of Pony Club provides a network that shares a common interest in horses. Friendships are created along the way through shared experiences at regional competitions and educational programs.
